A Very Glamorous Halloween

  

Proof that it is possible to decorate for Halloween on a budget without looking like you bought all your decorations from WalMart or the Dollar Tree! 

It's as easy as printing out a spooky skeleton or bat and popping it into an antique frame, or wrapping some black lace around white candles.

Even just painting pumpkins white and adding some fall leaves makes such a statement without spending a lot. And my favorite.. that skull pillow cover is only $35 from Zara Home!

Trend Report :: Fur, Baby!

This is something that has yet to become part of my wardrobe, but I'm determined to add a fur vest to my closet for winter (faux of course). The ladies above look so comfy and chic.. I'm in love!

Particularly Plaid

It's a Monday. One of those Mondays. It's cold and rainy outside, and I'd really like to be at home asleep. Ugh.

Plaid is such a comforting pattern in the autumn and winter months.

I'm particularly obsessed with this new button-down I bought from J.Crew a few weeks ago. It is SO SOFT and I've been wearing it with everything. My favorite go-to look is wearing this top with black leggings and brown boots (I know.. leggings aren't pants. Whatevs). Plans are in the works to buy this top in every color offered. I love it that much.

Well Hello There

Today marks the first day of that magical season, autumn.

It's warm, humid, and rainy here in Atlanta today, but you can feel the cool weather coming.

This fall, I'm looking forward to, more than anything, CAMPING! We go to Windrock Mountain in Oak Ridge, TN for a weekend of riding ATVs and camping, and it's absolutely breathtaking this time of year. Being far away from anything and everything is a great feeing. 

I've already started stockpiling new sweaters and boots for the upcoming fall months. J.Crew sweaters are a beautiful thing. 

I'll leave you with some warm Chanel, you know, just for good measure. ;)
