W2WW :: Wear to Work Wednesday

Black + white + raspberry = a yummy wear-to-work outfit.

It's pretty much impossible to go wrong with black and white, especially when it comes to office wear. If you've been following my W2WW series at all, you know how much I love to add pops of color to an outfit using accessories, like this McQueen scarf. If you have something more formal to attend, like an important business meeting, you can just take it off for a more polished look. Easy!

W2WW :: Wear to Work Wednesday
Pants / J.Crew / $118
iPad case / Juicy Couture / $95
Bag / Tory Burch / $495
Scarf / Alexander McQueen / $260 (in my dreams...)
Blouse / J.Crew / $88
Blazer / SheInsife.com / $46
Shoes / Nine West / $50 (great price for those of us on a budget!)
Earrings / Kendra Scott / $60
Perfume / Chanel Coco Mademoiselle

Wanderlusting :: Coastal South Series {1 of 4}

Life may be slow in Georgia's first-settled city, but Savannah is far from boring. Established in 1733 by General James Oglethorpe, today it is a city of moss-covered cobblestone lanes and a unique sense of southern pride. Walk down it's streets, and you're sure to feel the haunted history of this ancient city.

From the classic colonial square grid with quaint gardens (think Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil) and show-stopping fountains to the unique, unmatched local artist's market (the world-famous SCAD is located here), and too many tantalizing dinner options to choose from (Paula Deen's restaurant!), this big small town has a sense of charming cobblestone charisma that is not found anywhere else in the country.

Keep the artsy vibe flowing with this swinging dress from Free People. Colorful accessories and an oh-so-Southern monogram necklace ties everything together. And of course, every Southern belle needs a little Lilly in her life.

Savannah is a stunningly beautiful city that has somehow managed to hold onto it's history. It's not uncommon for buildings here to be hundreds of years old - something practically unheard of in this region.

Make sure to bookmark gardenia+glam and visit again next Thursday for the second installment of the Coastal South Series :)

Well Hello There

Today marks the first day of that magical season, autumn.

It's warm, humid, and rainy here in Atlanta today, but you can feel the cool weather coming.

This fall, I'm looking forward to, more than anything, CAMPING! We go to Windrock Mountain in Oak Ridge, TN for a weekend of riding ATVs and camping, and it's absolutely breathtaking this time of year. Being far away from anything and everything is a great feeing.

I've already started stockpiling new sweaters and boots for the upcoming fall months. J.Crew sweaters are a beautiful thing.

I'll leave you with some warm Chanel, you know, just for good measure. ;)

Enjoy this short-lived season while you can, it's a beautiful one.
